With spectacular river views, soaring architecture, and the highest-quality food and beverage service, the Freedom Center is one of the region's most-in-demand venues for private and special events. The Freedom Center has three preferred caters you can choose from: Elegant Fare, Jeff Thomas Catering, and D&D Last Minute Catering.

The Freedom Center offers several spaces to choose from within the facility.

The Freedom Center

The Grand Hall & Terrace

The Freedom Center's sweeping Grand Hall surrounds guests with Italian stone, a winding marble staircase, and floor-to-ceiling windows. At 6,816-square-feet, the Grand Hall accommodates up to 300 guests for a seated dinner and 400 for a cocktail style reception.

The Hall of Everyday Freedom Heroes & Terrace

The Hall of Everyday Freedom Heroes, 4,454 square feet, accommodates 125 for a seated dinner and up to 225 for a cocktail style reception.

Harriet Tubman Theater

The intimate, 300-seat Harriet Tubman Theater, featuring theatrical lighting, state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, a hardwood stage floor and an in-house professional technical staff, is ideal for music and theatrical performances as well as corporate meetings and presentations.

Discovery Room 1

  • Seating: 80 maximum theater style
  • Cost: $600 ($510 for Non-Profits)

Discovery Room 2
